There are many advantages in enrolling and ultimately graduating from a law school. But there definitely are lots of advantages if you’re enrolled in the top law schools in the United States. According to the 2007 law school ranking, the top law schools in the United States are those from Yale University, Harvard University, Stanford University, New York University, Columbia University, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, University of California-Berkley, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, Duke University of North Carolina, University of Virginia, Northwestern University of Illinois, Cornell University and Georgetown University, among others. But don’t fret even if you’re just enrolled in an online law school. As long as you’ve successfully pass the bar, it will be a very lucrative career for you whether you’re absorbed by the government or Fortune 500 companies or some think tank or radical civic institutions. The entrance exam consists just of logical reasoning, reading comprehension, analytical reasoning and an essay containing your views on why you’re obsessed to study in a law school.

Another law specialization which can lead you to a lucrative career is family law. This is an in-demand specialization nowadays. With the rise of divorces, child custody is really a headache if one doesn’t hire a lawyer to sort things out. If this is one’s specialty, then be good in that field so you’ll become one of the brightest lawyers in the country even if you just come from an online law school.
